Making Shapes

Several of our math standards revolve around shapes.  Students need to be able to identify, describe the attributes of and create oval, square, rectangle, circle, hexagon, diamond (rhombus), triangle - as well as spheres an cylinders.  On this day, using a piece of yarn and working collaboratively with our friends, we made lots of shapes:
